Xante Printers	Plate-Maker 5 - Total Prepress System The Plate Maker 5 has been designed to print exact halftones with accurate registration, sharp images, crisp film, and clean plates. This chemical-free, process-free, total prepress system images paper proofs, film and polyester plates. Choose freedom from your tired process and go digital. Printing directly to plate cuts the process enables you to go from proofs to approval and directly to plate or film.  The Plate Maker 5 offers smoother blends, higher line screens, with clean tints. Also, with Z-Dot, images are rendered with all 256 shades of gray and dot gain is controlled. Our patented Z-7 Technology assures clean plates, crisp images, high line screens, precise registration and even halftones.  You have more things to do than single-feed plate loading. Once your printer has been installed onto your system, check its status, rename it, align paper and more by entering the IP address in the address bar of your web browser. 

Maximum plate length: 12" x 25" (305mm x 469mm) 
Maximum plate width: 13 3/8" x 19 7/8" (340mm x 505mm) - Requires 340 Option 
Maximum print output for paper proofing: 13" x 25" (330mm x 469mm) - available @ 2400 dpi 
Maximum print output for paper proofing: 13" x 35.5" (330mm x 901mm) - available @ 1200 dpi
